Founder, Dee Davis Developmental Basketball Training LLC
After an accomplished playing career that included Vanderbilt, the WNBA, and overseas courts, Deonna "Dee" Davis has served as a head high school varsity basketball coach and private basketball trainer for over ten years. At Vanderbilt, she was a two-time All-SEC point guard who set the Commodores career assists record (730) 2003-2007.
Davis regularly conducts specialty camps and clinics, and has a passion for training and empowering young people. Through her foundation's yearly Back to School Community Day, she is responsible for providing valuable resources, including backpacks full of school supplies for hundreds of local students, as well as health and hearing screenings and meals for students and their families.
It has been said that Davis has a heart of gold and genuine spirit, and that she attains everything she puts her mind to. She has spent the majority of her life "paying it forward"- always giving, and positively impacting those that come in contact with her. In short, Davis is recognized throughout the country as a goal driven, self-motivated individual who strives for greatness.
Davis also became a first time author, with the release of Player's Guide to College Hoops.
